From my understanding, someone’s personal philosophy of learning explains their views and opinions towards learning. I personally believe learning never ends. I also believe that as you learn, you realize just how much you do not know, and I believe that is intrinsically amazing. Further, I agree with Pohoata (2012) in the idea that a “great problem of learning is not necessarily the retaining of knowledge but the ability to use it later, in different contexts” (p. 45). The transferring of knowledge must take place. Lastly, I believe learning can take place in many different environments and does not always “look” the same. Learning does not always need to be done in a traditional way, but needs to be fluid and every changing to adapt to the changing society. Learning is constant. Learning is personal. Learning is important.
